    Rental Assistance by the ihcda.in.gov is now closed. Renters with low income may check here.  Indiana households that make 60% of the state median income (60 SMI) or less may qualify for these benefits.

According to the NIPSCO website Here are the  Income Thresholds for Emergency Assistance:
One Person: $24,000 | 2 Persons: $53,000 | 3 Persons: $67,000 | 4 Person Household: $80,000
      Only customers that have applied for, the Federal Energy Assistance Program (EAP) qualify to not have their Utilities shut down. This is managed at the State Level only.
